Welcome to the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design. We are proud to belong to the University of Thessaly, which is the 3rd bigger University in Greece and it is included into the 5% of the top European Universities, according to University Ranking of Academic Performance (URAP).
Our Department is located to Karditsa city, a beautiful city hosting more than 2000 students, a town that worthens someone to live at, as it offers security, hospitality, kindness and a quite high quality of life.
The basic purpose of our 5year pre-graduate curriculum, is to cover in a sufficient way all the scientific fields of the Department’s basic pillars, those of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design, namely.
