We announce the awarding, by selection, of one (01) scholarship for graduates originating from Spetses and one (01) scholarship for graduates originating from Hydra for the academic year 2023-2024, funded by the income of the NIKOLAOS KRITSKIS bequest, for second-cycle (Master’s) and third-cycle (Doctoral) studies at Greek universities.

These scholarships are awarded following the completion of the competition for undergraduate scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024, as vacant positions arose in the categories of origin from Spetses and Hydra.


A. CONDITIONS FOR GRANTING THE SCHOLARSHIP:

  1. Degree from a Greek university with a minimum grade of “Very Good” (Λίαν Καλώς).
  2. Origin from Spetses or Hydra.
  3. Age up to 36 years.
  4. Enrollment in an approved second-cycle (Master’s) or third-cycle (Doctoral) program at a Greek university.

The scholarship is primarily awarded based on the grade of the first-cycle degree.

  • The scholarship payment for Master’s or Doctoral studies is calculated from the start of the academic year 2023-2024 or the start of studies within that year (mainly in the case of a Doctoral thesis) and lasts up to one (1) year, depending on the study program.
  • The monthly scholarship amount is three hundred (300.00) euros.
  • Payment depends on the adequacy of the bequest’s income and confirmation of the scholar’s good academic progress.
  • Applicants who have already received, or are receiving, a scholarship for the same level of study from the N. Kritski bequest or another bequest in the academic year 2023-2024 are not eligible.

SUBMISSION OF ELECTRONIC APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS

Applicants submit an electronic application for the charitable fund from which they wish to receive a scholarship from Friday, 18 July 2025 until Sunday, 31 August 2025, via the website of the General Secretariat for Public Property (Ψ.Υ.ΔΗ.ΠΕ.Ε.Κ.), using credentials as verified Taxisnet users.

Steps for electronic submission:

  1. Access the Direct Management Scholarships digital service of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance via the General Secretariat for Public Property website:
    Digital Services → Charitable Estates → My Applications.
  2. Enter your Taxisnet username and password.
  3. Create an application for Direct Management Scholarship and fill in the required fields:
    • Type of application: “Application for Direct Management Grant of Ministry of National Economy & Finance” (grant = scholarship).
    • Type of announcement: “Awarding of Scholarships, Financial Aid & Prizes for Studies.”
    • Select the relevant announcement.
    • Residence address, email, landline & mobile numbers (if different from Taxisnet account).
    • University, School/Department of graduation.
    • Degree grade.
    • Student ID number.
    • Origin according to the announcement.
    • Declaration acceptance: “I declare responsibly under Article 8 of Law 1599/1986 that I meet the terms and specific conditions for granting the charitable estate scholarship for which I am applying, and I accept verification of the supporting documents confirming these conditions.”

Upon submission, a unique application code is issued with the submission date, and the applicant can print the application.


Required Documents

  1. Copy of ID card, showing:
    • Applicant’s age
    • Greek nationality or Greek origin and place of origin (birthplace) as required by the announcement
    If the place of origin does not appear on the applicant’s ID, additionally submit:
    • Copy of ID of parent or grandparent showing the required place of origin, or
    • If deceased, a Death Certificate for that person.
  2. Copy of first-cycle degree with at least a “Very Good” grade.
  3. Transcript showing the exact numeric grade.
  4. University certificate confirming enrollment in an approved Master’s or Doctoral program for 2023-2024.
  5. Declaration under Article 8 of Law 1599/1986 (digital via www.gov.gr or signed with certified authenticity) stating that the applicant has not received nor is receiving a scholarship for the same studies (same level) from this or any other bequest, and has not lost any previous scholarship due to their fault.
