As part of the European program INVEST, in which the University of Thessaly participates, an online seminar is being organized with the title: “Critical Thinking Against Irrationality.”
In a world full of information, the ability to think critically has never been more essential.
In this webinar, Dr. Kristián Čechmánek will explore the foundations of critical thinking, focusing on how logical fallacies shape — and often distort — our reasoning.
Participants will learn to identify common fallacies and gain practical tools to recognize flawed arguments.
Beyond logic, we will also examine the deeper evolutionary roots of irrational thought and behavior.
The session combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, empowering participants to sharpen their analytical skills, question assumptions, and navigate complex discussions with clarity and confidence.
