The Company for the Utilization & Management of the Real Estate of the University of Thessaly invites florists who wish to obtain a license to sell flowers and gifts on the premises of the University of Thessaly to submit an application in accordance with the terms of this announcement.

The license is granted exclusively for the duration of the graduation ceremonies of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students during July 2025.

The graduation ceremonies will take place in the cities of Volos, Larissa, Karditsa, Lamia, and Trikala. Each event may include two or three separate ceremonies: one for postgraduate students, one for undergraduate students, and one for the conferral of doctoral degrees.

The locations where the graduation ceremonies will be held and licenses granted are:
A) Larissa – Gaiopolis Campus (former TEI of Thessaly)
B) Larissa – Viopolis Campus, Medical School
C) Volos – Areos Field, Polytechnic School
D) Volos – Papastratos Building, Argonauton & Filellinon
E) Volos – Fytoko, Agricultural School facilities
F) Karditsa – Former TEI of Thessaly facilities
G) Trikala – TEFAA facilities
H) Lamia – Former TEI of Lamia facilities

Application period: 04/07/2025 – 11/07/2025, 12:00 noon (late applications will not be accepted)

Required Documents:

  1. Copy of the florist’s ID card
  2. Document proving the Florist’s Activity Code or Operating License
  3. Florist information, including:
    • Recent proof of Tax ID (AFM) and tax office (DOY)
    • Business mailing address, email, mobile and landline
  4. Declaration (via Gov.gr) by the business owner/florist accepting the terms of this call for license issuance

Fees for License Issuance: (per sales booth for all ceremonies at the relevant location)

  • Larissa, Gaiopolis Campus: €150 + VAT
  • Larissa, Viopolis Campus: €80 + VAT
  • Volos, Areos Field, Polytechnic School: €120 + VAT
  • Volos, Fytoko, Agricultural School: €50 + VAT
  • Volos, Papastratos Building: €150 + VAT
  • Karditsa, former TEI facilities: €30 + VAT
  • Trikala, TEFAA facilities: €50 + VAT
  • Lamia, former TEI facilities: €50 + VAT

Note: If a second booth is set up at the Gaiopolis Campus, an additional €50 + VAT will be charged.

After verification of the above documents, the company will notify the florists via email to deposit the corresponding fee within five (5) working days. Payment is made via bank transfer, and an invoice will be issued in the florist’s name.

The license letter will then be issued, allowing sales during the ceremonies, and the final list of licensed florists will be posted on the company’s website: https://eadp.uth.gr/.

Important Notes for Florists:

  • Installation of booths or vehicles must not obstruct guest access or the event.
  • POS terminals must be available and legal receipts issued.
  • The sale of horns, firecrackers, fireworks, confetti, streamers, launch tubes, or any items causing noise or environmental pollution is strictly prohibited.
  • Florists are responsible for their staff’s labor and insurance obligations, and compliance with the competition rules.
  • Non-compliant florists or partners will lose their license for future graduation ceremonies.
