SUBJECTS
In this edition of the seminar, two case studies that are particularly important for the Greek market will be analyzed: a hybrid construction (wood and cement) and a wooden apartment building. Other topics to be presented:
- Constructions and innovative connections from CLT (Cross-Layered Timber).
- Examples of CLT constructions and construction sites, with special emphasis on case studies in Greece.
- Moisture and condensation risks, sustainability and reuse of wooden elements.
- Acoustics of CLT buildings and practical testing to assess the benefits of attention to detail.
SPEAKERS
The speakers are people who have distinguished themselves in the field, come from Greece, Norway and Italy and will provide a different perspective on wooden constructions.
