To make the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design an island of excellence in the higher education of our country with a substantial contribution to research, knowledge production and education, as well as a fundamental link of dynamic interconnection with the value chain of forests, the natural environment, industry wood-furniture and society for sustainable development and social well-being.
