Karagkouni Glykeria

Dr Glykeria Karagouni is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Production Technologies at the University of Thessaly. She is a PhD Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Production Technologies and with over 30 years of professional experience in public and private sector (industry, government, freelancer, consultant, academic). She has participated and participates in a significant number of national and international research projects. Her research papers have been published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and in proceedings of international peer-reviewed scientific conferences. She is a member of the editorial board of scientific journals and serves as a reviewer in a number of scientific journals, too. She teaches strategic and operations management, technology, innovation and entrepreneurial strategy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while she supervises relevant PhDs. She acts as an advisor and consultant to industry and public sector entities. Among others, she is a member of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (University of Thessaly), vice-president of the cultural entity of ACROPOLE ACROSS, a number of scientific groups, a certified benchmarking consultant and a project-and-research proposals evaluator in Greece (Intermediary Agency for Operational Programmes of Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship), Cyprus (HRDA, Cyprus) and Italy (REPRISE- the Register of Scientific Experts, Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research).
