Termination of student status for any reason automatically entails termination of the right to hold the Academic ID, which in this case should be returned to the Secretariat of the relevant Department.
All students of the country’s Universities are entitled to an Academic Identity Card.
However, beneficiaries of an Academic ID, with the validity of a Special Ticket (PASO), are:
Full-time students of the first cycle of studies if they do not already hold a university degree and for the number of years required to obtain a degree according to the indicative study program increased by two (2) years.
Part-time students of the first cycle of study if they do not already hold a university degree for twice as many years as are required to obtain a degree according to the indicative curriculum.
The students of the second cycle of studies who do not already hold a master’s degree for the number of years their studies last according to the respective indicative program of the second cycle of studies.
Students of the third cycle of study if they do not already hold a doctoral degree for four (4) years from the date of their registration.
Students who are citizens of member states of the European Union and of third countries, who study at a local University within the framework of the mobility program of the European Union “Erasmus” for as long as their studies at a local University last.
