The transfer of two members of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design to the Department of Environment and Technology of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, has been completed.
Participation in the annual research conference organized by the Faculty of Technology of the University of Colombo, gave the participants the opportunity to discuss ideas for new materials and products based on local natural materials.
A research collaboration has been initiated which will continue with the visit of members of the University of Colombo in the spring of 2025.
Another interesting collaboration which continues the extroversion and networking of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design with Universities from all over the world.
