On Wednesday 11/4/2024, as part of the course “Protected Areas Management” of the Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design (University of Thessaly), an excursion to Kalambaka and Theopetra Trikala took place.
The 52 male and female students and the three accompanying persons first visited the Natural History Museum of Meteora and the Mushroom Museum, and then the Theopetra Cave Documentation and Education Center. The students’ impressions of the spaces, the exhibitions and the staff of the Museums and the Center were very good and all of them are now looking forward to the destination of their next field trip, in collaboration with the always willing staff of the Traffic Office of our University!
