Kechagias Ioannis

Dr-Ing. Ioannis D. Kechagias graduated from the University of Patras with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. He was awarded a PhD in Manufacturing Processes in 2001. He has worked as a research engineer at the University of Patras on several EE-funded research projects. He joined TEI of Larissa in October 2004 as an Assistant Professor in Advanced Manufacturing Processes, progressing to Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in December 2016. In January 2019, I transferred to the General Department of the University of Thessaly, and in October 2020, I moved to the Department of Forestry, Wood Science and Design, University of Thessaly. He has authored a book and more than 100 research papers in international journals, book chapters and conferences. -He gave lectures at several Universities. -He is Editor in Chief in International Journal of Experimental Design and Process Optimisation -He is Academic Editor of the Advances of Civil Engineering Journal (Hindawi). -He acts as a guest editor to several peer-review journals, i.e., (i) Sustainability (MDPI) – Sustainable Manufacturing Processes and Machine Tool Technology, (ii) Micromachines (MDPI) – Advanced Manufacturing Technology, (iii) AIMS Materials Science (AIMS) – Materials for Additive Manufacturing, etc. – High influencing Author in Quality Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies as well as in Digital Manufacturing. – He acts as a Reviewer in more than 50 high impact journals.
