On Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, a scientific visit took place at the facilities of the Energy Cooperative of Karditsa ESEK in Agiopigi, Karditsa. The facilities operate a processing and standardization unit for residual biomass which comes from the Prefecture of Karditsa (forest residues, agricultural residues, urban tree prunings, etc.) with the aim of converting it into a final product in the form of biomass compacts, also known as pellet (pellet).
The visit was attended by students and other members of the Co-Green project team run by Euroacademy.
