The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports informs the academic community about the U.S. Embassy in Athens program titled “Ambassadors Fund for Summer Work Travel (SWT) Scholarship” for the summer of 2025. This program is aimed at Greek students who are interested in working in the U.S. during the summer months.
This program offers ten (10) scholarships to students of Greek Higher Education Institutions who are interested in working during the summer (up to 4 months) in seasonal jobs, where they will have the opportunity to interact with peers from the U.S. and from around the world. The “SWT” scholarship program is implemented within the framework of the U.S. Department of State’s “BridgeUSA” in collaboration with the American organization “Greenheart International.” For those selected, the program covers the round-trip airfare to the U.S., program fees, participation costs, visa fees, and health insurance expenses.
