{"id":18525,"date":"2024-11-01T10:43:54","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T07:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/?p=18525"},"modified":"2024-11-18T10:44:04","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T07:44:04","slug":"installation-of-a-weather-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/en\/2024\/11\/01\/installation-of-a-weather-station\/","title":{"rendered":"Installation of a Weather Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of October 30, 2024, and within the framework of the collaboration between the Laboratories of Forest Road Construction &amp; Forest Engineering Projects of our Department and the Laboratory of Water Resource Management, Energy, and Fluid Mechanics of the Energy Systems Department at the University of Thessaly, a weather station was installed on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences, and Design for mutual research purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"588\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18526\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.8711111111111111;width:423px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1-1.jpg 588w, https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1-1-261x300.jpg 261w, https:\/\/fwsd.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1-1-10x12.jpg 10w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The data recorded on a 24-hour basis includes temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction, and barometric pressure.
