On Wednesday 15\/5\/2024, within the framework of the Biomass Forum organized by HELLAVIOM in collaboration with our Department, we will be visited by a group that is analyzed below and I invited them to give a lecture on forests in Austria as well as the training of forest workers and the possible collaborations with our Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14.40 \u2013 15.00 Short greetings from the Ambassador of Austria to Greece Ms.\u00a0 Gerda Vogl, the Head of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, Mr. Christoph Sturm, the Representative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, Mr. Paul Ehgartne and the Director of the Federal Forest Research Center Ossiach, Ms.\u00a0 Anna-Sophie Pirtscher, who will give a presentation at the University. The mission also includes 15 directors of Austrian companies that have a connection with the forest and biomass.
15.00- 15.20 Presentation of the current situation in Greece in Forestry and Biomass issues by the President of the Department Dr. George Ntalos
15.20 -16.00 Presentations on the state of forests in Austria and biomass, as well as the technical training of forest workers.
