The Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design of the University of Thessaly participates in the European ERASMUS+ Program.
The Erasmus program (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students), contributes to the development of the Community as an advanced society based on knowledge, with sustainable economic growth, better and more jobs and greater social cohesion, ensuring, at the same time, satisfactory protection of the environment for future generations.
It aims in particular to strengthen exchanges, cooperation and mobility between education and training systems in the Community in order to become a global quality reference point.
Erasmus+ student mobility covers both course attendance and internships. The Erasmus+ program also provides for educational and administrative staff the possibility of travel for teaching and training respectively. Mobility in any case takes place within the framework of bilateral agreements with universities abroad.
